ZIARAT: A volcano has started spewing lava in Jhari area of Ziarat about 75 kilometers’ distance from Baluchistan provincial capital Quetta.
The volcanic activity at Torghar Mountain witnessed on the night between Sunday and Monday.
According to the area residents the fire fumes being seen at the mountain top in night since last five days and now the mountain has started spewing the lava.
Jhari area has been located near Wam, which was destroyed in October 29, 2008, earthquake in Baluchistan.
Local people fear another disaster in the area as Torghar mountain emitting lava along with shocks. |
