PESHAWAR: Rescue and government officials say flooding has killed over 200 people in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Northern areas as thousands flood hit people waiting for relief and rescue as vast tracts of agriculture land have submerged and houses damaged in floods.
According to reports, flooding in Swat and Jendi rivers has submerged several village alongside the Charsadda Road and hundreds people have been trapped in floodwater, which has swept away mud houses and destroyed standing crops.
The water of Swat river has entered in Kabul River at Nowshera. Thousands have trapped in floodwater. The areas of Nowshera Kalan and Nowshera Cantonment have submerged under floodwater.
In Kohat a house rooftop collapsed killing a man and injuring several others.
Heavy rainfall continued in Gilgit-Baltistan region disrupting the land link of the area with other parts of Pakistan.
The Chief Minister House of GB has drowned under floodwater and the Chief Minister has shifted to a local hotel.
